Historically, a mausoleum is a large and impressive construction of multiple granite and bronze pieces for a deceased leader or another person of great importance. Today, they are mostly built by prominent family estates that call Chicago home.
Our mausoleums are built to hold the burial remains of 2, 4, 6, 12, and even more. Designing an estate mausoleum custom-built for your family from Gast will offer plenty of space for your immediate family and beyond.

Large Estate Walk-in Mausoleums
The grandest. The biggest statement. The Monument built exclusively for kings, pharaohs, presidents, and leaders. Designing a large walk-in mausoleum for your family’s estate will enshrine them in honor forever.
These large mausoleums start with 8 burial vaults and can be designed for up to 16. For those with even larger estates cremation niche walls can be added to add up to 24 more places to house loved one’s remains.
More so than not, an estate mausoleum of this grandeur is not the only memorial placed on the large multi-plot estate. The walk up to the mausoleum is fully customizable as well. Full upright monuments, bronze plaques, and a host of other ornamental pieces can be constructed in concert to tell each member’s story the way they want, but still apart of the whole.

Cremation Niche Mausoleums
Custom designed and built for you and your whole family’s estate, our cremation niches are worthy of even the most prestigious of legacies. This niche style mausoleum houses the cremated remains of each individual behind their own custom bronze plaque and uniform granite panel.

Family Mausoleums
Your family, your legacy, your collective story. Designing and constructing a private family mausoleum is one of the best and most honorable ways you can entomb your family in hallowed walls of beautiful polished granite forever.
A walk-in style monument, like those pictured, is engineered and constructed to house between 6 and 9 burial vaults for the entombed family and their relatives. Every inch of these grand vaults can be customized. Multiple granite colors, mixing materials like granite, bronze, or even stained glass, any and all options are available.
